There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Commercial Residential Urban area Responsibilities Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings Prepare and install hardwood floors Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations Prepare floors for installations Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants Perform direct glue‑down carpet installations Installation specialization Hardwood strip flooring Hardwood intricate patterns flooring Cork flooring Carpets/rugs Transportation/travel information Own transportation Willing to travel Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Handling heavy loads Bending, crouching, kneeling Ability to distinguish between colours Hand-eye co‑ordination Own tools/equipment Steel‑toed safety boots Personal suitability Efficient interpersonal skills Judgement Organized Team player Eligibility for application Permanent resident of Canada Temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.
