Project Development Engineer - Team Lead

Role Summary

The Project Development Team Lead directs a multidisciplinary team responsible for
developing the technical and design basis of projects for estimating, proposals,
procurement planning, and early execution. The role is accountable for workload, schedule,
technical consistency, and team development.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and supervise team workload, priorities, and deliverables.
• Coordinate development of technical bases, bills of material, specifications, data sheets,
and conceptual drawings.
• Review outputs for completeness, constructability, technical consistency, and estimate
readiness.
• Ensure application of approved standards, templates, workflows, and governance
requirements.
• Coordinate with Estimating, Procurement, Project Management, Sales, and discipline
engineering leaders.
• Identify assumptions, exclusions, risks, and information gaps affecting project scope or
price.
• Mentor engineers and designers and support individual development plans.
• Capture feedback and lessons learned for the Technical Infrastructure Platform.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and deliverable-review capability.
• Strong coordination, communication, and workload-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting conceptual design, estimating, FEL, FEED, or EPC proposals.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary infrastructure work.
