Wire CutterHire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable Wire Cutter to join our team in Peoria, IL. This position will be responsible for cutting and spooling various sizes of wire, maintaining accurate inventory records, pulling customer orders, and assisting with general warehouse operations.Pay Rate: $19.00/hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Key ResponsibilitiesRead customer, work, shipping, and transfer orders to determine materials needed.Cut and spool various wire sizes using wire-cutting machinery.Track wire footage on stock reels and update wire tags/markers.Monitor wire inventory and communicate when stock levels are low.Receive, scan, sort, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.Pull and assemble customer orders from inventory.Place completed orders on pallets, shelves, or in the appropriate shipping area.Prepare parcels and materials for shipment.Perform cycle counts and verify inventory quantities.Operate a forklift as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.QualificationsUtility, electrical, distribution, or warehouse experience preferred but not required.High School Diploma/GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to accurately read and follow orders and instructions.Basic computer/scanner skills preferred.Forklift certification required.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Interested?
