Delivery Driver

Position Overview

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products, materials, and equipment to customer locations and job sites. This position serves as a key representative of the company by providing excellent customer service, maintaining delivery schedules, and ensuring products arrive in excellent condition. Drivers will also assist with loading, unloading, product assembly, and light warehouse duties.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Safely operate a 26' box truck to transport and deliver products to customer locations and job sites.

Plan and execute daily delivery routes efficiently while maintaining on-time delivery schedules.

Load, secure, transport, and unload products safely to prevent damage during transit.

Verify delivery orders for accuracy prior to departure and upon delivery.

Provide professional and courteous customer service during all customer interactions.

Obtain required delivery documentation, signatures, and confirmations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery status and scheduling updates.
