Sr. Communications Specialist

A full-time, on-site position based in Columbus, the NJASAP Senior Communications Specialist assists with the organization's internal and external communication efforts and strategies, This staff members plays a vital role as part of the Communication Team - a group that thrives on collaboration, feedback and pluck. Role Responsibilities Assist the Assoc. Communications Director with all communication initiatives (e.g., strategy, development, drafting, editing, designing, delivery and publication) Draft and edit weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly and annual communications Provide proofreading assistance Help develop and produce manuals Research, analysis and Initiative recordation Assist with special campaign development & support Design & publish social media content for seasonal greetings & remembrances Assist Leadership & Committees with communication development and drafting High-level graphic design to support messaging Photograph & Video assistance Manage and audit content posted to the NJASAP Online Community & App Develop communication templates for email messaging software Perform communication-specific administrative tasks (e.g., vendor identification, outreach and project coordination) Weekly Pilot Meeting Support Other tasks as assigned by the NJASAP Executive Director Qualifications A minimum of six years of experience Strong communication, writing and editing skills Ability to help develop and execute communication strategies Exceptional organizational and project management skills Knowledge of the aviation or labor industries is a plus Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field Proficiency with modern communication tools and platforms #J-18808-Ljbffr NJASAP
