OB Surg Tech - Labor & Delivery, Nights Overview: Responsible for handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during obstetrical operations performed in the Operating Room located in the Labor and Delivery unit. He/she has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates surgeon needs. He/she ensures quality patient care and maintains the sterile field while performing patient care duties under the direction of a registered nurse. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (Required) Work Experience Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program (Required) 1 year previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist (Required) 3 years of experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting (Required) Licenses and Certifications BCLS - Basic Life Support (Upon Hire Required) NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr Fayette Chamber of Commerce
