The Hospital Housekeeper helps maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, treatment areas, offices, hallways, and common spaces.
- Collect, transport, and properly dispose of waste and soiled materials.
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain housekeeping equipment.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Respond promptly to spills and urgent cleaning requests.
- Maintain a professional and respectful environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and supply needs to the appropriate supervisor.
