We are recruiting an Associate Engineer for a consulting engagement with our client, a leading global biotechnology company. Job Description: Remote role - candidates near Cambridge, MA or Thousand Oaks, CA preferred; required to come into office once a month. Standard hours: 8am-5pm Ideal candidate: Industry experience through internship or research projects with a bachelor's degree, background in engineering, data sciences, biology, chemistry, or related field. Experience with drug product in fill finish or inspection. Proficiency in Excel, statistical process control, Spotfire, or Tableau. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Implementation/enhancement of digital systems and automated analysis/visualization tools (Spotfire) for data management and monitoring Data extraction, verification, analysis, and technical reporting for process monitoring Supporting investigations of adverse signals identified through process data monitoring Integration of new products and processes into data monitoring and quality management systems Supporting ad hoc studies and projects, such as technology transfers to new sites Top Must-Have Skill Sets: Educational background in engineering, biology, chemistry, or related discipline Manufacturing experience, preferably in drug product/pharmaceutical field; other manufacturing experience may be considered based on relevance Experience with data entry, verification, analysis, and data management systems Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree OR Associate degree with 4 years' experience OR High school diploma / GED with 6 years' experience Red Flags: 1) Lack of consistency, focus, or clear career interest 2) Lack of motivation or clear interest in this role Why is the Position Open?
