development within the Intelligence Community.\nThe selected candidate will join a specialized technical team responsible for analyzing risks across enterprise and operational mission systems, networks, devices, and applications supporting a diverse portfolio of Government initiatives.\nThis position requires strong expertise in Python, Neo4j, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes, and secure back-end development, with an emphasis on designing scalable systems, maintaining graph databases, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring software reliability in high-security environments.\nThe ideal candidate possesses extensive experience developing enterprise applications, managing containerized cloud environments, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and applying security best practices to protect sensitive data and mission-critical systems.Key Responsibilities\nSystems Engineering & Technical Risk Analysis\n\n \n Support technical risk analysis across enterprise and operational mission systems, networks, devices, and applications.\n \n Analyze system architectures, technical dependencies, and operational requirements to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.\n \n Collaborate with technical stakeholders to identify and prioritize system requirements.\n \n Evaluate system performance, scalability, security, and reliability to support mission objectives.\n \n Develop and recommend engineering solutions that address technical challenges and improve system functionality.\n \n Support the integration and sustainment of enterprise applications and supporting infrastructure.\n \n Identify opportunities to improve system availability, operational efficiency, and security.\n \n Provide technical recommendations and support engineering decisions across multiple Government initiatives.\n\nPython Development & Back-End Engineering\n\n \n Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available back-end systems using Python.\n \n Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable Python code following established development standards and best practices.\n \n Develop application components and services that integrate with Neo4j graph databases.\n \n Support the development of APIs, application services, and data processing capabilities.\n \n Collaborate with development teams to define technical requirements and implement software solutions.\n \n Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application and integration issues.\n \n Optimize application performance, reliability, and resource utilization.\n \n Participate in software design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.\n \n Maintain technical documentation supporting application architecture, design, and functionality.\n\nNeo4j Graph Database Engineering\n\n \n Design, develop, configure, and maintain Neo4j graph databases supporting enterprise applications.\n \n Ensure graph database integrity, performance, security, availability, and scalability.\n \n Develop and optimize data models supporting complex relationships and analytical requirements.\n \n Apply graph algorithms and data structures to support efficient data processing and analysis.\n \n Troubleshoot database performance, connectivity, and integration issues.\n \n Collaborate with software developers to integrate Neo4j capabilities into Python-based applications.\n \n Support database performance tuning and optimization.\n \n Maintain database configurations, technical documentation, and operational procedures.\n \n Implement appropriate database security controls to protect sensitive information.\n\nAWS Cloud Infrastructure & Kubernetes Administration\n\n \n Manage, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters operating within AWS environments.\n \n Ensure Kubernetes infrastructure supports high availability, scalability, security, and operational reliability.\n \n Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications and supporting services.\n \n Optimize Kubernetes deployments to improve performance, resource utilization, cost efficiency, and reliability.\n \n Monitor cluster health, application performance, and infrastructure availability.\n \n Troubleshoot container orchestration, networking, deployment, and configuration issues.\n \n Support secure integration between cloud infrastructure, applications, and databases.\n \n Implement configuration and operational improvements that strengthen infrastructure performance.\n \n Collaborate with cloud engineering and DevOps teams to support application deployment and sustainment.\n\nCI/CD, DevOps & Automation\n\n \n Develop, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.\n \n Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.\n \n Conduct unit, integration, functional, and system testing as appropriate.\n \n Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to established coding standards and engineering best practices.\n \n Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across applications, databases, and infrastructure.\n \n Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve defects and improve software functionality.\n \n Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers.\n \n Assist with technical planning, task prioritization, and implementation decisions.\n \n Support the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet mission requirements.\n \n Document testing results, technical issues, corrective actions, and engineering recommendations.\nRequired Qualifications\n\n \n Active TS/SCI security clearance with current Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) is required.\n \n Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available back-end systems using Python and Neo4j.\n \n Experience developing and maintaining Neo4j graph databases, including data integrity, performance optimization, and scalability.\n \n Strong Python programming experience, including adherence to coding standards and software development best practices.\n \n Experience collaborating with development teams to identify, define, and prioritize technical requirements.\n \n Experience working with cross-functional development teams to deliver enterprise software solutions.\n \n Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers.\n \n Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or comparable technologies.\n \n Familiarity with monitoring and logging technologies, including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.\n \n Knowledge of graph algorithms and data structures.\n \n Experience with additional programming languages, such as Java or C++.\n \n Experience managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters within AWS environments.\n \n Experience optimizing Kubernetes deployments for performance, cost efficiency, scalability, and reliability.\n \n Experience developing and maintaining applications within high-security environments.\n \n Knowledge of secure software development practices, security protocols, and compliance requirements.\n \n Experience implementing security controls to protect
