Title : Radiologic Technologist – Computed Tomography (CT Tech)

Location : Detroit, Michigan

Shift : 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and prepare patients for CT examinations
• Review clinical data and obtain additional patient history when needed
• Operate CT equipment and perform diagnostic scans
• Administer IV contrast media, including use of power injectors
• Monitor patients for contrast reactions and provide immediate care if necessary
• Assist Radiologists with sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies
• Maintain radiation safety standards and apply ALARA principles
• Ensure accurate image delivery and documentation within PACS and RIS systems
• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain adequate supplies
• Complete all required medical record and billing documentation
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must maintain required continuing medical education hours

Certifications & Licensure

• BLS Certification required
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist required
• ARRT Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry eligible

Required Experience

• Previous general radiography experience
• Ability to operate CT equipment
• ARRT CT Certification required
