Restaurant Food Server

In the restaurant, you will serve our customers by ensuring they are seated quickly, their orders are received, prepared, and delivered in a timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next customers. Responsibilities: • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests • Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations Qualifications: • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Micros experience • Weekend availability Compensation: $2.13 hourly plus tips
