Vaco is partnering with a dynamic, growth-oriented organization to identify a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This executive leadership role will serve as a key business partner to the CEO, Board of Directors, and private equity stakeholders, driving the company's financial strategy, operational performance, and long-term growth initiatives.The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic financial leadership by developing and executing long-term financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and growth initiatives that align with overall business objectives.Partner with the CEO, executive leadership team, Board of Directors, and private equity sponsors to drive financial performance, support key decision-making, and maximize shareholder value.Lead all accounting, finance, treasury, FP&A, HR, and compliance functions while ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and regulatory compliance.Evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition performance management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline required; CPA designation required.Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience within finance and accounting, including executive-level responsibility.Demonstrated success serving as a Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, or in a comparable senior financial leadership role.Proven experience partnering with private equity-backed organizations, including driving value creation initiatives and supporting investor objectives.Extensive M&A experience, including financial due diligence, transaction execution, integration planning, and post-acquisition optimization.Deep expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance management.Track record of leading organizational growth, transformational initiatives, ERP implementations, and process improvement efforts that enhance scalability and operational efficiency.Compensation: $250K-$275K with bonus Schedule: 5 days on site in Scottsdale, AZ Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
