Job Summary The Regional General Manager (RGM) will be responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of multiple automotive dealerships within a designated region, providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure sales, profitability, and operational excellence goals are met or exceeded. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement effective business strategies and plans to achieve regional sales growth, customer satisfaction goals, and operational efficiency. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of dealership managers and personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and motivation. Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data, market trends, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Financial Oversight: Manage regional budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring profitability and cost management across all dealerships. Customer Satisfaction: Champion customer experience initiatives to ensure high levels of customer retention and satisfaction across all dealership locations. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities. Collaboration: Work closely with corporate leadership and other regional managers to align strategies and share best practices. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all dealerships adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in operations, sales, and customer service. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Automotive Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred. 7+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple locations or dealerships. Strong understanding of automotive sales processes, financing options, and customer relationship management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in utilizing data to drive business decisions.
