Registered Nurse

This position is for a registered nurse on a 36-bed telemetry/surgical floor. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical environment. Charge nurse experience is preferred. The role involves caring for diverse patient populations, including those with surgical needs and telemetry monitoring. Skills required include accessing and managing ports, CPAP/BiPAP management, and blood product administration. Experience in hemodialysis management, wound care, and telemetry monitoring is also essential. The position operates on a night shift basis with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1. Candidates must hold current ACLS and BLS certifications. NIH stroke education is also required for compliance. All candidates should be prepared for potential floating based on facility needs. Documentation and charting must be conducted using the Epic system. Preferred candidates will demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
