Senior ServiceNow Developer

Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior Service Now Developer to support a major national laboratory. Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. Implement and support multiple ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management. Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications to improve functionality and user experience. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and workflows. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and support procedures. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in application development. Provide training and support to end-users and other IT staff as needed. Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry best practices. Qualifications

BS in relevant discipline plus minimum 7 years or more years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance US Citizenship required Candidate can work remotely but must be willing to travel onsite as needed Required Skills: Experience with Service Platform Configuration Proven experience implementing and supporting multiple ServiceNow modules. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes). Experience with ServiceNow integration techniques such as REST, SOAP, and MID Server. Familiarity with ITIL processes and how they relate to ServiceNow modules. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) are a plus.
