The Community Development Department is a collaborative and inclusive team that is passionate about the work we do for the community. This position is very dynamic and provides abundant opportunities for professional growth. The applicant should have a strong background in development review and project management but will be encouraged to pursue areas of interest and will have the ability to gain experience in many different facets of planning, community development, and economic development. Position Summary: The position performs a wide range of current and long-range professional planning duties to effectively manage the growth and development of the Town. Based on position level duties include but are not limited to the formulation, implementation, and modification of the Town of Eagle's Land Use and Development Code and long-range plans, bringing current projects through the development review process, working with all department staff to ensure process and procedures are in place. This position is also responsible for aiding other Town of Eagle departments with a variety of special projects. The job is multi-faceted, and town planners frequently perform other duties as assigned.
Planner I Qualifications and Hiring Range: $61,672 - $74,006.40/annually. The maximum earning potential for this position is $86,340.80 A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Urban/Regional Planning, Urban Design, Architecture or related field and one to two years of experience in Municipal, County, or Regional Planning. Licenses, Languages, and Certifications:

- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency helpful, not required. Bilingual incentive pay available.
