Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor

Summary In addition to performing the role of a BHT, the BHT Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of clients and other BHTs while on duty. BHT Supervisor ensures client and staff follow protocols, and reports issues to the Program Director / BHT Manager and others as needed. Shift 1st Shift 7:00am - 3:00pm Pay $17.50/hr before shift differentials Responsibilities Assist with the intake process for new clients into the program. Communicate with staff either verbally or in written communication logs, responsible for detailed client logs. Listen to clients concerning all areas of treatment, maintaining a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention. Coordinate activities including lectures, recreation, and meetings. Conduct mandatory bed checks as required per department, complete bed-check sheets for shift reporting. Attend shift change, team meetings, and company meetings. Ensure client schedule is being followed daily. Assist with interventions with clients. Follow objectives of treatment plans. Monitor medication line. Transport clients to hospitals for medical appointments as needed. Conduct searches of clients when they return to the facility. Train new staff on unit, program, and milieu. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. (Required) Valid driver’s license. (Required) Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health.
