About the Position

Job Title

Registered Ultrasound Technologist – Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Location

Mountain Home, AR

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | On-call rotation required (2 days/week and every other weekend) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic ultrasound/sonography imaging to aid in patient diagnosis and continuum of care
• Assist radiologists with imaging exams across the department, surgery, emergency department, and patient floors
• Participate in on-call rotation, including 2 days per week and every other weekend, with required response time within 30 minutes
• Operate in a hospital setting open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, with experience in electronic charting systems preferred

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience as a Sonographer
• Active ARDMS or ARRT certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• License must be in-hand at time of submission
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds with proper body mechanics

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Outpatient ultrasound experience strongly preferred; travelers with outpatient US experience will be considered
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience highly preferred
