Responsibilities include: Perform patient triage and assist with emergency assessments Obtain patient histories and monitor changes in patient condition Perform venipuncture, blood collection, and IV catheter placement Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as directed Perform in-house laboratory diagnostics and prepare samples for reference laboratories Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and emergency procedures Support emergency treatments and patient recovery Assist with radiology and diagnostic imaging Maintain accurate medical records and treatment sheets Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and clients Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during emergency situations What We're Looking For 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience Experience in Emergency, Urgent Care, Specialty, or high-volume General Practice Strong foundation in veterinary nursing and patient care Confidence working independently while remaining a collaborative team player Comfortable with: Emergency triage Venipuncture and blood collection IV catheter placement Medication administration Fluid therapy Anesthesia monitoring Laboratory diagnostics Patient monitoring Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail LVT credentials are preferred, but not required Experienced non-credentialed Veterinary Technicians or Veterinary Assistants with strong emergency experience are encouraged to apply.
