Job Title Adjunct Faculty in Spanish Agency Texas A&M University - San Antonio Department Department of Language, Literature, and Arts Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location San Antonio, Texas Job Type Faculty Job Description The Department of Language, Literature, and Arts is seeking a part-time faculty on the San Antonio campus. The successful candidate will teach lower-division undergraduate courses in Elementary and Intermediate Spanish (based on academic qualifications). Applicants will be contacted according to departmental needs. Teaching assignments may include day or night classes. Salary: $3,000 per 3-credit course. Required Education and Experience Master’s Degree in Spanish from a regionally accredited institution. 18 graduate hours in Spanish. Preferred Education and Experience College or University teaching experience. Experience with first-generation students. Spanish for Heritage Language. Familiarity with non-traditional commuter University setting. Experience in multicultural settings. Completed Ph.D. in Spanish.
