Description Compensation: $37K - $42K based on experience We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Septic Inspection Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and reporting on the condition of residential and commercial septic systems. You'll play a vital role in ensuring public health and environmental safety by identifying issues before they become costly problems. Conduct thorough inspections of septic tanks, drain fields, and related components Use specialized equipment to locate tanks and assess system functionality Document findings and provide clear, accurate reports to clients and regulatory agencies Educate property owners on system maintenance and potential repairs Collaborate with team members to schedule inspections and manage workflow Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and working order Always adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred Prior experience in septic system inspection, plumbing, or wastewater management Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in outdoor environments Preferred Skills Certification in septic system inspection or wastewater management Familiarity with inspection software What We Offer Opportunities for training and certification Supportive team environment Career growth in a vital and expanding industry #J-18808-Ljbffr
