Responds to and initiates care for medical emergencies throughout the facility. Orders and performs diagnostic procedures. Prescribes controlled substances and devices in accordance with current regulations. Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records. Provides education to patient, healthcare and correctional staff. Performs care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
