System Administrator Intern

Description Leidos Civil IT division is focused on innovation and solving complex technical problems spanning infrastructure operations, cybersecurity analytics, and application modernizations. About the Role This is not a traditional, siloed service desk role. As an intern, you’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting a secure, enterprise‑scale environment with federally regulated requirements. We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to learn—someone who can take initiative while collaborating with others to solve problems and deliver results. About the Candidate Provide hands‑on desktop support in an enterprise environment, including OS, hardware, and user‑facing issues Diagnose and address network connectivity issues (e.g., access restrictions, firewall rules, DNS, VPN, IP/Port/URL filtering) Prepare and maintain physical computer assets and peripherals including imaging, inventory, shipping/receiving Operate effectively across multiple functions—including endpoint management, support, security, and asset management—without reliance on rigid team boundaries Required Qualifications Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field Ability to obtain public trust security clearance US citizenship required.
