Overview
Have you ever dreamed of a career where your expertise breathes life into communication? As a Speech Language Pathologist in the dynamic settings of Atlanta, you will be at the forefront of advocating for individuals with communication and swallowing challenges. This role isn't just about therapy; it's about unlocking potential, restoring self-assurance, and weaving connections that last a lifetime.
Picture yourself thriving in a multifaceted environment, where outpatient therapeutic practices complement the occasional need for inpatient intervention. Whether your heart is drawn to nurturing young minds through speech development, navigating the intricacies of adult neurological communication disorders, or empowering seniors to regain their voice, fulfillment and variation will be part of your daily experience.
Description
- Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing standardized assessments along with observational strategies.
- Craft customized treatment plans targeting immediate objectives alongside long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
- Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focused on aiding communication, language acquisition, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
- Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families, and caregivers to formulate comprehensive care plans.
- Engage with patients and their families, providing education and resources to facilitate skill application beyond the therapy room.
- Participate in periodic inpatient evaluations and interventions when necessary, ensuring smooth transitions in care.
- Document patient progress with accuracy, in line with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
- Engage in continual learning and professional development to stay abreast of innovations within the field.
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if certification from ASHA has not yet been obtained.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is desirable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of starting the position.
Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices across all age groups, with keen insights into both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Adaptability in therapy techniques to address diverse cultural and linguistic patient backgrounds.
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Adeptness in using electronic medical records and documentation systems.
Benefits
- Attractive compensation package based on experience.
- Flexible work schedules promoting a healthy work-life balance and diverse caseloads.
- Opportunities to specialize in pediatrics, adult rehabilitation, or geriatric care.
- Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options.
- Support for continuing education and professional development.
- A supportive, team-oriented environment emphasizing quality care and continuous learning.
A Career That Empowers You — and Empowers Others
In this important role, you will do more than provide therapy; you will partake in a mission that cherishes the beauty of communication, reinforces connections, and creates joyful moments through the art of understanding and being understood.
In a welcoming environment where colleagues treat each other like family, you will experience a culture rooted in collaboration rather than competition. Each patient has a unique tale, and we believe in your ability to help narrate it with compassion.

Who We Are Seeking
We are in search of a Speech Language Pathologist who is motivated not just by performance metrics but by genuine compassion. Someone who envisions a world where every child finds their voice and every adult can communicate clearly post-challenge.
You might be someone who specializes in pediatric care and desires to incorporate adult services — or perhaps you're immersed in the realm of neuro rehabilitation and wish to explore early intervention.
No matter your area of enthusiasm, if you are poised to lead with heart and skill, we would be thrilled to have you join our family.
Let's Create Meaningful Connections Together
If you understand that communication transcends mere words, and that therapy is an emotional journey — if you believe in the power of trust before hitting objectives, and that laughter and language are equals on this path — then this may just be the career narrative you have been waiting to unfold.
Come and be a part of a community that cherishes communication, thrives on connection, and welcomes the courage it takes to embark on new beginnings. Apply now to share your voice with our team and join us in supporting others to find theirs.
