Haresh Properties Inc. is seeking an experienced, motivated General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our customer-focused locations in the Valparaiso area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys working with people, developing teams, maintaining high operating standards, and taking ownership of the overall success of a location.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure the location runs efficiently and professionally
• Lead, coach, train, and motivate a team of employees
• Create and manage employee schedules based on business needs
• Monitor labor, sales, inventory, and operating expenses
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and control labor costs
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, customer service, and food/service quality
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving
• Address customer concerns professionally and work to create a positive customer experience
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Complete daily and weekly operational tasks, reports, and administrative responsibilities
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, efficiency, profitability, and overall operations
• Lead by example and remain actively involved in day-to-day operations
• Communicate effectively with ownership and provide updates regarding staffing, sales, operational concerns, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience in a restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other customer-service environment is a must
• Highly motivated and competitive, with a strong desire to grow the business and increase sales
• Takes ownership of the location's success and is driven to achieve and exceed goals
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to train, coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable
• Comfortable managing schedules, labor, inventory, and operating expenses
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused
• Proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to identify opportunities and take action to improve the business
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
