Audit Senior- Architecture, Engineering & Construction

As this New York area firm grows, it's looking to add an Audit Senior to their AEC team. They're eager to train and teach a hungry audit senior looking to make their way in the AEC niche .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the audit team to plan audit procedures.
• Assess and identify financial risks and make recommendations to mitigate the risks for your clients.
• Lead audit fieldwork, including the testing of financial statements, internal controls, and transactional data.
• Establish relationships with AEC clients keeping them informed throughout the process.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports, highlighting any material weaknesses or deficiencies in financial reporting, and suggest actionable solutions.
• Ensure that AEC clients comply with industry-specific regulations and standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field.
• A Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
• 2 + years of audit experience
• Any exposure to AEC clients is a major plus
