We are seeking a strategic and compassionate Executive Director to lead clinical operations and drive organizational growth. This position provides a unique opportunity to impact lives through mission-driven leadership in a high-impact care environment.Direct Reports: Recovery Managers, Counselors, and BHTLead Position Overview: The Executive Director is responsible for the strategic, operational, and clinical leadership of a behavioral health and addiction recovery facility. This includes oversight of all staff performance, program alignment with best practices, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The role also involves managing day-to-day operations while supporting long-term organizational sustainability and growth.Key Qualifications:Strong background in strategic planning and clinical program developmentExperience working within behavioral health and substance abuse recovery environmentsAbility to cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with staff, partners, and vendorsCommitted to accountability, teamwork, and a unified missionDrives strategic initiatives and ensures operational and financial sustainabilityDeep knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory frameworksExperience in medication management, self-administration supervision, and clinical safety protocolsSkilled in crisis intervention and suicide risk assessmentPassionate about mentoring and developing clinical teamsKey Responsibilities:Lead and supervise Recovery Managers, Counselors, and BHT LeadsOversee all aspects of client care, program compliance, and staff developmentEnsure adherence to regulatory standards in clinical documentation and service deliveryManage the intake and onboarding of new clients, family involvement, and counselor assignmentFacilitate team meetings and clinical case reviewsServe as a crisis contact for after-hours situationsConduct staff evaluations and provide direct care support when neededLead client group sessions and coordinate family engagement programmingDevelop and implement short- and long-term strategic plansSupport the organization's mission through consistent leadership and ethical practicesKey Competencies:Visionary leadership with clinical and operational expertiseStrong team-building and mentoring capabilitiesExceptional understanding of HIPAA, client rights, and confidentiality lawsProactive in identifying behavioral health trends and adapting service modelsHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and accountabilityAdept at navigating complex healthcare regulations and compliance standardsCommitted to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive treatment environmentMinimum Requirements:Master's Degree – LPC or LCSW requiredMinimum 5 years of management experience in behavioral health or addiction recoveryCurrent CPR Certification or ability to obtain within 90 daysIf you are a visionary leader passionate about advancing behavioral health and addiction recovery services, apply today through Symbiotic Services and help shape the future of care.
