Description:
The Emergency Department has a total of 21 beds.
Patient ratios are 4:1.
Unit Secretary will be available, but tech support will not be provided.
Standard ER equipment will be used.
The documentation system is Meditech.
Scheduling requires 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period (4 weeks).
Floating to other sites may be required.
Patient experience expectations must be acknowledged and signed on the first day.
The goal for patient experience is 75%.
Certifications needed include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Dress code requires scrubs in black or royal blue.
Unit-specific policies and guidelines should be reviewed by candidates.
The department has been voted as a top place to work in Tennessee.
New equipment includes GE monitors and ultrasound machines.
Flexibility in staffing is a key feature.
New stretchers are also available for use.
