COTA - Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate COTA (Occupational Therapy Assistant) to join our skilled therapy team at Sky Blue Healthcare LLC in Broken Arrow, OK. As a critical member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the delivery of occupational therapy services to patients with a wide range of diagnoses and conditions

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patient needs and progress

• Develop and implement treatment plans to promote patient independence and functional abilities

• Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to achieve patient goals

• Document patient progress and communicate with occupational therapists and other healthcare team members

• Participate in team meetings and consultations to ensure effective collaboration and communication

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies from an accredited institution

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with the Occupational Therapy Certification Board (OCCB)

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve patient-centered outcomes

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Strong passion for providing high-quality patient care and education
