Forklift OperatorSurestaff is immediately hiring Forklift Operator for a large, well-known client in Liberty, MO. As a Forklift Operator, you will be an essential part of our client's core Operations, ensuring that quality product is received, processed, and delivered in a timely manner according to client expectations. The Clamp Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of receiving, moving, locating, relocating, and shipping merchandise. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18 -$23/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.Available shifts included:1st Shift 7:00 AM. - 3:00 PM. Clamp Forklift2nd Shift 3:00 PM. - 11:00 PM. Sitdown ForkliftOvertime is available on a first come, first serve basis.Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other equipment to move raw materials, in-process goods, and finished productsLoad and unload trucks, railcars, pallets, and skidsPerform daily safety checks on lifts and equipmentMaintain accurate inventory records and report discrepanciesOrganize and assign storage space within the warehousePerform minor maintenance tasks such as recharging batteries or replacing fuel tanksSupport special projects and other warehouse duties as assignedRequired Qualifications of the Forklift Operator:Proven experience operating forklifts and clamp trucks in a warehouse or manufacturing environmentAbility to operate equipment in tight spaces, including narrow aisles, ramps, and railcarsStrong spatial awareness and load-handling skills, including balancing and securing loads of varying sizes and weightsFamiliarity with warehouse layouts and inventory organizationPhysical ability to occasionally lift 20–50 lbs., frequently lift 10–25 lbs., and consistently move up to 10 lbs.Ability to work overtime as neededAbout SurestaffAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
