As a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending, you will join a motivated team dedicated to guiding clients to fulfilling the dream of homeownership. Job responsibilities Coaches and mentors the branch team by providing training on products and services. Works together with bankers, meets with their customers and introduces new clients to bankers for additional products and services. Collaborates with your team to create an outstanding customer experience by utilizing centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts. Develops a strong partnership with the assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories), and functions well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships. Builds role as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintains good relationships with customers. Exhibits consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis and expertise, product knowledge, and knowledge of the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking Knowledge of real estate market in local area Excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills FHA/VA sales experience Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment Compliance & Regulatory Requirements The position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and requires a review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries. It also requires compliance with Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators, including a review of criminal history, credit report, NMLS information, and other factors to demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the role. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Your continued employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements. Additionally, this role requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment with JPMorgan Chase, you must register on NMLS or update your existing registration to reflect employment. Your continued employment in this position is contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after your start date and timely renewal thereafter.
