Senior UI Engineer

To support the development of Guild Wars 3, a Contract Senior UI Engineer will work remotely to build and maintain scalable UI systems and gameplay-facing interfaces in Unreal Engine 5, collaborating closely with UX, UI, Gameplay, and Engineering teams. Key responsibilities Build and maintain scalable UI systems and gameplay-facing interfaces in Unreal Engine 5 Develop maintainable MVVM-style UI architecture and workflows, collaborating with UX designers to translate designs into polished in-game experiences Implement responsive interfaces that support multiple input schemes, integrating gameplay systems and player data into the UI layer Required qualifications 5+ years of professional experience as a UI Engineer or related role in games or interactive media Experience building maintainable user interfaces in Unreal Engine 5, with strong proficiency in UMG and Blueprint workflows Proficiency in both C++ and Blueprint implementation Experience supporting multiple input schemes, including controller and keyboard/mouse workflows Strong understanding of UI architecture, scalability, maintainability, and responsive UI design principles
