Shift Info PRN What You’ll Do As a Surgical Technologist, you'll play a vital role in supporting the surgical team and ensuring a safe, efficient operating room environment while delivering exceptional patient care. Prepare the operating room by organizing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures. Maintain the sterile field by passing instruments, assisting surgeons, and supporting the surgical team throughout procedures. Perform accurate instrument, sponge, and supply counts while assisting with specimen handling and dressing application. Operate and monitor surgical equipment, including sterilizers, suction devices, lights, and other operating room equipment. Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory management, sterilization processes, and operating room readiness in collaboration with the Circulating RN. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned. Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a dependable, team-oriented professional who can remain calm under pressure and provide safe, compassionate care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and rotating shifts. Training as a Paramedic, Practical EMT, Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant, or related healthcare training preferred. Current American Heart Association approved BLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained throughout employment with GRHD. 6 months to 4 years of experience in a similar role preferred. Strong communication, listening, teamwork, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to follow instructions and use sound judgment in stressful situations. Ability to safely lift, move, and secure patients of all ages and maintain accurate records; proficiency in required clinical and computer systems expected within six months of hire. What We Offer Our total rewards package includes Pay Range: $20.43 - $27.55/hour (based on experience) Shift Differentials: $2-$4/hour for nights and weekends, and other incentive pay available. Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
