Job Summary
We’re looking for a hardworking Valve Technician/Field Service Technician to join our team! You’ll be working both in the shop, and in the field providing excellent service to our customers. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maritime and industrial valve testing and rebuilding experience. Responsibilities 

• Test and/or repair valves and other equipment for both maritime and industrial customers
• Repair valves and other equipment in the field for both maritime and industrial customers
• Create job reports for material used and time spent when in the field for bill processing purposes
• Keep track of inventory and request materials needed for field service work
• Keep field service vehicle properly maintained

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• At least 2 years of valve service/field service experience
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Basic math skills
• Available to be on call and respond to field service requests on nights and weekends
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel
