Dental Assistant
Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA)
Role: Dental Assistant providing dental exams, treatment, and X-rays in a mobile environment to military service members. Key Responsibilities Perform dental procedures, including digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and sterilization of instruments. Assist chair-side with four-handed technique. Support health readiness by ensuring dental needs are met for deployable forces. Handle basic administrative functions and maintain sterilization protocols. Qualifications & Skills Active Dental Assistant Certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA). Active Radiology Certification. CPR/BLS Certification. Experience with sterilization and chair-side assisting. Proficient with computer programs. Comfortable working in a mobile setting and weekend availability. Experience with military healthcare is preferred. Additional Information The role involves working primarily on weekends, with occasional weekdays, in Washington state. Candidates must pass background and drug screenings.
