Data Architect (Microsoft Fabric)

To support the development of a new enterprise data ecosystem, the full-time remote Data Architect (Microsoft Fabric) will define architecture and modeling standards, oversee integration patterns, and provide technical leadership for the delivery team in building a centralized data platform. Key Responsibilities Independently define the end-to-end architecture for Microsoft Fabric, including various data solutions to support Operations & Technology use cases Develop foundational architecture and standards for a new enterprise data platform, ensuring security and deployment principles are established Serve as the technical leader for the delivery team, translating architecture into actionable tasks and ensuring alignment with program objectives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 8+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or solution architecture, with a focus on enterprise-scale data platforms Strong experience designing lakehouse and/or warehouse architectures, including layered data patterns Expertise in SQL and proficiency with Python and/or PySpark for data engineering tasks Experience architecting data solutions on Microsoft Fabric or comparable enterprise cloud data platforms
