Job Summary:
The healthcare professional is a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) care, located in Silverdale, Washington. This position involves working in a Level II NICU, providing specialized care to neonates born with low birth weight, prematurity, and recovery from serious conditions, as well as attending high and low risk deliveries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Silverdale, Washington
• Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, with a schedule of 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; flexibility with scheduling as long as departmental needs are met
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday days, Friday and Saturday nights)
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Stable; a minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU is preferred, although candidates with 1 year and multiple prior travel experiences will be considered; experience with Level II NICU, stabilization of high and low risk deliveries, postpartum couplet care (including well newborns and maternal care), and attending deliveries.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be adaptable to workflows, policies, procedures, and feedback. Unit-specific orientation includes an 8-hour compliance class, an 8-hour Epic class, and 2-3 additional 12-hour shifts. The hospital allows cancellation of up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
