Field Diesel Mechanic - Experienced - CES

As a Diesel Mechanic – Customer Equipment Solutions (Service Tech IV – CES), you will perform maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems of customer-owned equipment with limited or no supervision, using a high degree of independent judgment. What you’ll do Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools. Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of customer-owned equipment; maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner. Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed. Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis. Upsell and demonstrate a wide array of complex equipment to customers. Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts. Perform other duties assigned as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Five or more years of experience repairing and maintaining equipment and tools. Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools. Knowledge of construction equipment and a strong mechanical background with various engines. Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams. Ownership of applicable tools. Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal and written communication skills.
