Director of Operations

FavTrip is two convenience stores and gas stations in the Kansas City area, one in Grandview and one in Independence. I own them. I am hiring the person who will run them so that I am no longer the only one who can. The Job This is a hands-on operating job, not a corporate staff role. You would own both locations, both P&Ls, and the people in them. There is no district office above you and no operating manual yet, because you are the one who writes it. What You Would Own Hiring, training and keeping store managers and clerks. Vendor and DSD relationships, buydowns, ordering, planograms. Cash control, inventory counts, and getting shrink down. Store standards: cleanliness, food service, speed at the register. Writing the operating playbook that does not exist today. Who This Is For You have run a high-volume convenience store, gas station, grocery store, dollar store or big-box location and carried the P&L. Maybe you have run more than one. You know what shrink is without looking it up, and you have fixed it before. You are comfortable on the floor at 7am, not just in a spreadsheet. Schedule and Pay Four days a week on site, mostly in Grandview with time at the Independence store. Roughly 7am to 4pm. $65,000 to $75,000 a year.
