Contract: 3 Months, 40 hours/week

About the role

Our client, a global fintech company, is hiring a Web & Lifecycle Designer to shape how they show up across its most powerful digital surfaces, including their website and the full member journey. This is not a production role. You'll sit at the intersection of craft, systems, and emerging technology, crafting two of our highest-impact creative canvases and building the design infrastructure that scales both.

You'll create high-quality, insight-driven experiences from the moment a prospective member first lands on their site through every lifecycle touchpoint that follows—email, push, in-app, and beyond. This role is for a visionary designer who sees the full picture, builds for scale, and uses AI as a creative accelerant.

In this role, you can expect to

• Own the design of individual projects across the website and lifecycle channels—setting quality and strategic creative vision for both surfaces
• Build and evolve scalable design systems and component libraries that enable consistency, speed, and AI-assisted creation across web and lifecycle
• Apply AI and emerging tools to transform how web experiences are built, campaigns are concepted, and content is personalized at scale
• Shape high-impact web experiences including responsive pages, conversion flows, navigation systems, and CRO-driven experiments
• Define how the brand engages members across lifecycle touchpoints—email, push, in-app, and SMS—with work that is both brand-building and performance-driving
• Partner with Growth, CRO, and Product to drive experimentation, using data and performance insights to continuously evolve creative approaches
• Champion accessibility standards (WCAG/AA) and UX best practices across all digital initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Engineering, Content, and Product to bring ideas to life at the highest level of craft
• Operate with autonomy, identifying opportunities and raising the bar across both channels

To thrive in this role, you have

• 5+ years of experience in visual design, with demonstrated work across web (responsive, conversion-focused) and lifecycle or CRM channels
• A visionary design sensibility—a strong point of view on what great looks like, not just what ships
• Deep expertise in design systems, component libraries, and scalable creative frameworks
• A track record of driving measurable impact through your design decisions
• Fluency in Figma and modern collaboration tools, with AI-native thinking and a genuine curiosity for what's next
• Experience with A/B testing, CRO experimentation, and using performance data to inform and evolve your work
• A deep understanding of user behavior, journeys, accessibility (WCAG/AA), and human-centered design
• Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners
• The ability to own large, ambiguous areas of work and deliver with speed and quality

Bonus points if you

• Have experience designing for fintech, financial services, or other consumer-facing tech
• Bring a background in front-end development or HTML/email constraints
• Have experience designing within CRM platforms like Braze, Iterable, or Contentful
• Have led design sprints or facilitated workshops for cross-functional alignment
• Are passionate about measuring impact and driving data-informed design decisions
