Industrial Electrician

Job Description Job Description Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Electrician for a top industrial manufacturing client. This individual will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems within an active industrial facility. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, technically strong, and comfortable working with high-voltage systems, PLCs, and detailed schematics. This is a long-term contract opportunity tied to a site scheduled for closure in approximately 20–40 months, offering stability and meaningful hands-on work in a manufacturing environment. Must Haves 5-10 years exp as an Industrial Electrician High School Diploma or equivalent State electrical certification or license (as required) Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including: PLCs High-voltage systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams Hands-on experience with: Hand and power tools Electrical testing meters Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Working knowledge of NEC regulations and building codes Commitment to safety compliance and use of PPE Day to Day Install, maintain, and repair: Electrical control systems Wiring and lighting systems Troubleshoot and repair: Transformers Motors Lighting fixtures Use testing devices to identify and resolve electrical issues Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems Conduct inspections to determine repair vs. replacement needs Ensure compliance with: Safety policies NEC regulations Local building codes Maintain accurate documentation: Maintenance logs Repair records Inventory tracking Reports and forms per company procedures Plusses Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship Experience working in large-scale industrial or manufacturing environments Preventative maintenance program experience Strong documentation and reporting habits
