The Production Designer turns approved creative direction into polished, production-ready Marketing assets across digital and print. Beyond resizing, this role independently develops layouts, templates, presentations, sales materials, and asset adaptations within agreed briefs and brand standards. Campaign concepts and creative direction remain with the Creative Director, Marketing. Reporting to the Creative Director, Marketing, this role combines strong design judgment with reliable production skills. Work is prioritized through the Creative Director and the existing project-management process, rather than through separate requests from every stakeholder. The designer keeps files organized, checks production quality, and raises questions early when a brief or brand application needs clarification. Key Responsibilities: Design Layouts & Adapt Creative Assets Prepare Files for Print & Web Manage Workflow & Organization Protect Brand Quality Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in production design Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Deep understanding of file setup for both physical printing and digital screens An eagle eye for catching small errors before things go live Experience working with franchise systems or consumer retail brands preferred Background working with luxury or premium brands where visual quality is critical preferred Skills & Capabilities: Highly organized with strong file and process management skills Able to balance speed and accuracy against agreed priorities Meticulous attention to detail and production quality Strong layout judgment within established brand and creative direction Clear communication with Marketing, web, and print partners Adaptable to evolving production needs Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Occasional need to visit boutique locations to review print placements or in-store visual materials Ability to lift and carry design proofs, printed materials, or supplies up to 15 pounds as needed While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, and to see clearly at close and long distances to review designs, proofs, and screens The employee frequently uses hands and arms for typing, mouse use, and handling printed materials The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate What Makes This Role Exciting: Opportunity to shape how French Florist's brand shows up in stores, on social, and in email nationwide High visibility across the Marketing and Creative teams Be part of a rapidly growing franchise network with an expanding national footprint Work with a mission-driven, premium brand focused on beauty, connection, and craftsmanship Compensation: This is a contract position, $40,000 to $50,000/year To Apply: Please submit your resume and a portfolio that demonstrates your design thinking, typography discipline, and visual taste.
