Concession Stand AttendantJefferson RISE Charter School is seeking a Concession Stand Attendant for the Athletics department. This part-time, event-based position reports to the Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director and offers a compensation of $15.00 per hour.The Concession Stand Attendant is responsible for operating the concession stand during assigned athletic and school events. Duties include concession setup, customer service, food and beverage sales, payment processing, cash security, cleanup, and completion of required end-of-game reporting.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Arriving prior to assigned events to set up and prepare the concession stand for operation.Stocking and organizing food, beverages, and supplies for service.Selling and serving approved concession items to students, families, staff, and guests.Processing all sales, including cash transactions, through the school's point-of-sale system.Handling and securing concession funds throughout the assigned shift.Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary concession area.Following established food-handling, sanitation, cash-handling, and concession procedures.Monitoring available products and supplies during concession operations.Completing required end-of-game reporting, including remaining inventory and items that may need to be restocked.Communicating supply, equipment, or operational concerns to the Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director.Completing concession stand cleanup and closing responsibilities following each event.Properly storing remaining concession products and supplies.Securing concession equipment, inventory, and funds at the conclusion of each shift.Turning concession funds over to the Athletic Director for reconciliation.Performing other concession-related duties as assigned.Qualifications include:Dependable and able to report on time for assigned events.Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends.Ability to accurately handle cash and process point-of-sale transactions.Basic mathematical and organizational skills.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.Previous experience in concessions, food service, retail, cash handling, or customer service preferred but not required.Physical requirements include:Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and stock concession products and supplies.Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.Compensation and schedule:Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.Hours are based on assigned athletic and school events and will vary depending on the event schedule.This position requires availability for primarily evening events and occasional weekends.
