Junior Construction Estimator

$20 - $25 per hour

Junior Estimator - Construction Location: Alexandria, LA

Pay: $20-$25/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: 30-40 hours per week Type: Direct Hire

We're looking for a motivated Junior Estimator to join a growing construction company in Alexandria. This role is ideal for someone who's detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to build a long-term career in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
Review plans, specs, and project documents
Support senior estimators with bid preparation
Communicate with vendors and subcontractors
Maintain organized project files and documentation

Qualifications:

Some experience in construction, estimating, or related field preferred
Ability to read blueprints is a plus
Strong math and computer skills
Reliable, organized, and willing to learn
