- TBD during the interview
- Place and finish dental restorations(fillings) after the dentist prepares the tooth.
- Take accurate impressions for temporary crowns, bridges, and diagnostic models.
- Fabricate and place temporary crowns and bridges.
- Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments.
- Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as directed.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments.
- Take and process radiographs.
- Maintain proper infection control and sterilization standards.
- Provide clear post-treatment instructions to patients.
- Charts treatment notes accurately and assist with updating patient records.
- Monitor inventory and prepare trays for procedures.
- Support front office team with patient flow and case coordination when needed .
- Current, valid, and unrestricted IN license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Minimum one (1) year of Dental Assisting experience required.
- Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and materials.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- EFDA experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR Certification.
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents. (Expanded Function Dental Assistant (CODA),X-Ray Certification, CPR Certification)
