Digital Content Coordinator

Northeast Community College is seeking a full-time Digital Content Specialist The purpose of this position is to: Support the Strategic Communications department by gathering information and creating accurate and engaging content that advances Northeast Community College’s mission, strategic priorities, enrollment goals and institutional brand; Tell the Northeast story through written, visual and multimedia content that highlights students, faculty, staff, alumni, academic programs, partnerships and community impact; Create content for the College website, print publications, news releases, media kits, social media channels, email marketing, and employee communications; Strengthen consistent, brand-aligned messaging across internal and external communications; Help maintain consistent messaging, editorial standards and visual identity across College communications; Support strategic communications by contributing story ideas, gathering information and creating content for College departments, initiatives and events. This position will adapt content for different audiences and communication channels to support student recruitment, employee communications and community engagement. Collaborate with campus partners to ensure communication materials are accurate, audience-centered and aligned with College priorities, editorial standards and visual identity. Education: Associate’s degree or higher in the field of communication or media arts. Experience: Two years or more of marketing, public/media relations or communications experience preferred as well as experience creating social media content for businesses or organizations and experience in using content manager systems (CMS).
