Veterinary Technician Supervisor

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a skilled Patient Care Supervisor. The role involves motivating, engaging, and developing a team in the Emergency department. Schedule : Day shifts, 3x12s, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. with rotating weekends. Pay : $24.00 - $35.00 per hour + competitive shift differentials. Pay band depends on experience and competency assessment. Shift differentials based on a 4-hour minimum include: Mon – Fri: 6 p.m. – 8 a.m. = +$3.00/hr. Sat & Sun: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. = +$3.00/hr. Sat & Sun: 6 p.m. – 8 a.m. = +$4.50/hr. As a Patient Care Supervisor, you will Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills, and business knowledge. Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive in anticipating and addressing patient and client needs, and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations. Work with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings. Organize training schedules for Patient Care staff. Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution. Provide feedback to leadership and work to develop performance improvement plans. Perform other related duties as assigned.
