Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour
Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum 1 year
License: Valid Washington state license in hand
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT


Must-Have:
- Charge experience preferred
- Experience with pediatric patients preferred
- Family maternity and OB experience preferred
- Arterial punctures required
- Administering medication experience required


Description:
This position requires a licensed Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care services.
The therapist will work in a critical access facility with a total of 25 staffed beds.
The expected patient-to-therapist ratio is 1:3.
Weekend shifts are required, occurring every other weekend.
Block scheduling is also required.
On-call duties are not required for this position.
Travelers may be asked to float between nearby facilities.
Candidates should have experience with various respiratory therapy equipment and techniques.
Preferred experience includes adult critical care and pediatric care.
The environment includes interdisciplinary support from multiple healthcare teams.
Additional skills in patient transport, suctioning, and ventilation management are necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in charting systems, specifically Epic.
References from the last three years covering relevant experience are required for consideration.
Travelers are expected to comply with all job requirements and scheduling needs.
