Overview The Origination Rep Sr. is responsible for handling projects and transactions under minimal direction. A successful candidate has a wide range of knowledge regarding the natural gas business and is capable of interacting with customers at all levels within the organization. The ability to impact the achievement of customer, functional, operational, project or service objectives and resolve sophisticated problems that improve performance, efficiency and safety are keys to success. Responsibilities Anticipate internal/external customer needs; assess requirements and identify resolutions to non‑standard requests. Account for projects or programs with moderate risks and resource requirements. Identify and estimate contributors to costs, accurately forecast financial information, make prudent expenditures, and use financial and quantitative information to guide actions and performance. Conduct research and analysis to identify, evaluate, recommend, and pursue new growth opportunities that will augment existing business and expand into other segments. Benchmark post‑transaction operating results and assist in the development of acquisition long‑range forecasts. Demonstrate knowledge of commercial aspects of the energy industry; understand energy market fundamentals, trends, and economics across the industry. Develop opinions and challenge recommendations on basin, customer, and competitor intelligence based on third‑party tools and publications; coordinate with investment banks to understand and evaluate potential transactions. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (required). Minimum seven (7) years of related experience (required). Preferred: MBA. Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and prioritizes safety. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills. Knowledge of upstream, midstream, or downstream assets.
