You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. Scheduling Requirement This role requires participation in a rotating weekend schedule. Candidates must be available to work during assigned weekends as part of the regular shift rotation. Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. Conduct informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self‑exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE). Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including developing Center Physician standing orders and transporting donors to emergency care facilities. Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when necessary for unacceptable findings, medical or technical issues, donor safety and eligibility. Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and determine if further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER, following EHS guidance. Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program with state requirements. Current license or certification in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN. Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy. Complete FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years clinical or hospital experience. Compensation and Benefits Location: USA – OK – Broken Arrow. Hourly Wage Range: $24.32 – $33.44.
